The Stag Inn is a traditional yet modern family pub with not only a very warm and friendly atmosphere, but a giant beer garden with a covered and heated smoking area. Inside there are comfy tables, chairs and sofas to relax on.

In addition there is a stage for performances, karaoke and anything our customers can think of - with frequent live events along the way.

The food is not only prepared freshly in the homemade way, but has a lovely selection of vegetarian meals. Add to that the all day breakfast steaks and fresh hamburgers and the choice to have something not offered on the menu. The Sunday lunches are at a reasonable £5.50 with a choice of homemade Yorkshire puddings, four meats and very fresh seasonal vegetables.

All spirits are branded even though (with a mixer) they are only £3 before 7pm and £3.80 after!

Here's what our managing editor Masi Alessandro had to say about the Stag Inn:

"In a world of plentiful choice of bars and venues, we have to ask why we choose one over all the others... and the answer is the atmosphere created not just by the service and decor, but by the total combination of ingredients which make a pie or a dinner special.

With the Stag Inn they have the experienced Brighton finesse of its manager Simon. Have a look at the photos we took to see the rest...and finally treat yourself to a visit in which I warn you you will definitely stay longer than you thought you would!"

We should always be sharing reasons about why we live, what we want from life and what we want from others. I don't see why we should be polite all the time - I'd rather get to the point..and my point is to merge with someone through love and fun without condition - isn't love...

He still had her cardigan. She left it there becuse she barely knew what she was doing. It had taken hours to get home, the once-familiar streets warped and crackling.

Those were the hours, the days and the nights that merged into a kind of carnival. When the drugs wore off real life didn't...

Cheeky Little Squirrel

Squirrel is surprise star of holiday photo "Squirrel is surprise star of holiday photo
Melissa Brandts and her husband were surprised to find a squirrel posing with them in a photo taken on holiday. The couple had set the timer on their camera while posing at a lakeside in a national park in Canada. Just as they were about to be captured on camera the cheeky squirrel popped up in the foreground and stole the show."

The full story and original photo can be seen on the Telegraph site.
